What we use your data for
We use the name, email, company (if you provide it), line of interest and message you send through the contact form solely to reply to your enquiry.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you voluntarily submit the form. For the form's own anti-abuse filter (see below), our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Who sees your data
Nobody else. Your message is sent directly by email to our inbox (info@gurukia.com) through our own mail server. We don't share it with third parties, and we don't use external marketing or CRM tools to process it.
How long we keep it
The form isn't stored in any database — it just sends an email. From there, your message lives wherever info@gurukia.com's emails live, under the same retention as the rest of our mail.
Anti-abuse filter
To prevent automated mass submissions, we temporarily log the IP address the form was sent from. This log lives in memory, resets every few minutes, and is never written to disk or a database.
Technical server logs
Like any website, our infrastructure generates technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) for security purposes. They're automatically deleted after a maximum of 2 months.
Cookies
We don't use analytics or tracking cookies. This site doesn't follow you from one visit to the next.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your data, or request it in a portable format. Email us at info@gurukia.com and we'll sort it out directly, no red tape.
